Google's original New Albany data center, opened after an initial $600 million phase in 2019. Since then Google has layered on additional Ohio-wide tranches, $1.7 billion in 2023 (attributed here to the Lancaster project) and $2.3 billion in 2024, building toward a cumulative $7.2 billion-plus commitment across Columbus, Lancaster and New Albany. One of the earliest anchors that started the New Albany boom.
